Use your favourite IPS patching tool, for example Lunar IPS, to patch the MSX
game ROM file. It's "Mashou no Yakata Gabalin (1987) (Pony Cannon) (J).rom"
in GoodMSX with CRC32 D34D74F7. In emulators, use "Mirrored ROM" mapper type.


== MINI MANUAL ==

"Mashou no Yakata - Gabalin", roughly translated to "Evil Mansion - Goblin"
is a small action RPG based on the 1986 horror/comedy movie "House" (no, not
the sitcom with Bob Saget). You play as Roger Cobb, whose son Jimmy was
kidnapped by Big Ben, a mummified Vietnam war buddy of Roger. Delve into
the post-war trauma scarred mind of Roger and rescue Jimmy.

Controls: up/down/left/right to move, SPACE/BUTTON 1 to attack, GRPH/BUTTON 2
to change item. After killing all enemies in a room, the game usually awards
you with an item. Your first task is finding a weapon (HINT: that blue diamond
pattern is a warp hole).
